The HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen10 server tower is a 4.5U server tower that delivers enterprise level features at a relatively inexpensive price when compared to other systems with similar storage, memory, and processing options. This system is a great option if your business specializes in data management and other intensive computational tasks and many of the components are hot swap for easy system maintenance. The all new Intel Xeon Scalable processors are the backbone of this system. You can choose from the Bronze, Silver, or Gold level processors featuring 4 to14 cores. The processor supports DDR4 memory with six DIMM slots. Power is provided by either by a 350W, 550W, or 800W power supply. The 800W Flex Slot Platinum hot plug power supply requires the RPS Enablement kit.
One memory channel is allocated to each DIMM slot for a total of six channels and six memory slots. The system supports a maximum of 192GB of memory with all slots loaded with Registered 32GB DIMM modules. The memory speed clocks in at speeds ranging between 2133 MT/s and 2666 MT/s depending on the processor. The Bronze CPUs support memory speeds of 2133 MT/s, while Silver and certain Gold CPUs support 2400 MT/s. Only the Gold 5122 CPU supports the fastest speed of 2666 MT/s.
This system can accommodate many different configurations to support your storage needs and bolster your business. The HPE ML110 Gen10 server tower works with both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives. 3.5-inch drive configuration support a maximum of 96TB, while the 2.5-inch option supports a maximum of 61TB. Hot plug SATA and SAS, HDDs and SSDs are supported on this system. Depending on the storage configuration you can install an optional DVD-ROM or DVD RW optical device. There are several HPE Smart Array storage controller to choose from including the integrated S140i for software RAID and other performance RAID controllers that support levels of 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, 1 ADM, and 10 ADM.
There are five PCIe 3.0 slots to expand your system capabilities for graphic processing or increased data transfer speeds. Three are x8 slots while the other two are x16 slots. The Smart Array storage controllers also connect through the PCIe slots providing RAID options for the storage devices.
On system management is simplified with the standard iLO management port on the rear of the system and another on the front of the system. The HPE iLO 5 is supported by 32MB of memory and 4Gb DDR3 with ECC protection. To unlock more features, iLO can be upgraded to Advanced or Essential levels with the purchase of a license key.
