The FortiGate 400E-BYPASS provides an application-centric, scalable, and secure SD-WAN solution with Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) capabilities for mid-sized to large enterprises deployed at the campus or branch level. The FortiGate 400E includes 16 pairs of bypass ports that provide fail-open support. In the event of a hardware failure, power loss, or bypass mode is enabled, the bypass ports will maintain network connectivity and traffic will continue uninterrupted.
