The Mobility Master simplifies the management of multiple Aruba controllers running ArubaOS 8 or later. Key features include a centralized dashboard to easily see and manage controllers, configuration hierarchy to customize deployments for various sites, and live firmware and feature upgrades to improve network reliability during active user sessions. The addition of licensing pools simplifies the transfer of licenses between different controllers to quickly address expanded deployment needs.
The Mobility Master also serves a key role in Dynamic Segmentation, providing a single management layer for all controllers acting as policy enforcement agents.
It also supports the latest Wi-Fi Alliance standards, including Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), WPA3 and Enhanced Open—in addition to existing 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ad standards. It also supports AI-powered RF optimization technologies like AirMatch and ClientMatch—which can now support 802.11ax grouping and bidirectional MU-MIMO awareness.
Organizations with existing Aruba 802.11ac Wave 2 APs can also support WPA3 and Enhanced Open security when clients support it.
